Guided tour of the exhibition “Jean Crampilh-Broucaret (1939-1972). Jeannot’s Floor”

Guided tour of the exhibition Jean Crampilh-Broucaret (1939-1972). Jeannot’s Floor
Exhibition dates: from 11/09/24 to 27/04/25
MAHHSA – 1, rue Cabanis – 75014 Paris

The object of all fantasies, the place of all beliefs, from the story of its author to the engraved message it carries, it is a myth to be deconstructed with patience. To re-inscribe the Floor ethnologically in the context in which it appeared, to give a name to its author, Jean Crampilh-Broucaret, to propose an epigraphic reading of the text it carries, to distance it from its rich critical fortune and, finally, to present it in a way that respects the artistic testimony that it is, will all be the objects of this presentation and of the book that accompanies it. Go through the entrance on rue Cabanis de l’hôpital and continue straight on. Enter the tennis court on your right. Then, turn right and go down the stairs to access the MAHHSA.
